Saw Menopause the Musical last week and it is a stitch.
I was privileged to see it at Geva Theater in Rochester, NY and the cast of 4 women were fantastic, the scenery depicting Bloomingdale's in NYC and the music is wonderful. What a fun evening of laughter and memories it was.
I am so grateful to the Baby Boomer's for making "the change" something that is talked about, laughed about and noted medically not as just a psychiatric problem women face. Being able to talk about mood swings, hot flashes and memory fadeouts is freeing. I believe young women growing up today might get an overlaod of information, but it sure beats silence, as in Silent Passage by Gail Sheehy.
